Since early 2022, I’ve been Guitar Center’s in‑house Video Editor—shaping everything from national Guitar‑a‑thon commercials to punchy TikTok reels for both the Guitar Center and Musician’s Friend brands. My day-to-day responsibilities span the entire post-production pipeline: backing up footage as the on-set DIT, building narrative-driven edits, and delivering final masters with broadcast-ready color grades. I’ve collaborated with marquee gear makers like Fender, Line 6, and Focusrite, and cut long-form videos featuring world‑class artists including Steve Vai, X Ambassadors, Bring Me The Horizion, Joe Bonamassa, and others. Whether I’m translating producer feedback into tighter story arcs or dialing in cinematic looks that make guitars glow on screen, my goal is always the same—to turn great performances into scroll‑stopping content that moves musicians to create.

Short Form Social Videos

In addition to editing long-form videos that appear on Guitar Center’s YouTube profile, I have also been highly involved in editing short-form social videos designed to drive engagement and interest in new products found in stores. I worked closely with the social team to craft scroll-stopping videos that would get the attention of musicians who are looking for their next piece of gear.

Short-Form Social Content Performance:

  • Edited 60+ Instagram reels and Stories (gear demos, artist spotlights, quick tips), resulting in 5 million+ views, 159,000+ likes, and 3,000+ comments.

  • Delivered polished, on-brand edits that resonated with the audience, leading to frequent user tags/shares and reinforcing product awareness online and on showroom screens.

  • Collaborated with the social team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality clips, contributing directly to increased visibility and engagement on Guitar Center’s platforms.
