I have lived all over the country. After high school, I went to college and spent four years roaming the Palouse hills that surround Washington State. I then spent a couple of years on the east coast going to grad school in Richmond, VA. I started my career in the Twin Cities, then spent a few years working in Hollywood, before returning home to the Pacific Northwest in Seattle. Over the past decade, I feel like I’ve been bouncing all over the country I have been all over the country, but there are few places that matter to me more than my hometown of Wenatchee, WA.

For much of the last year, I have been in Wenatchee. This time last year there was a lot of uncertainty about Covid-19 and how it would impact our lives. At the time we knew relatively little. Simple things like going to the grocery store were scary and something you would avoid at all costs. Many events and concerts were canceled and vacations were postponed. To make matters worse social distance restrictions made it hard to see our friends and family.
